Ecu stolen from car need help getting it started
A friend of mine recently bought a car that had been repo'd and the ecu was taken out before it got repo'd. I am trying to get the car started but know I will need the original immobilizer code that matches the key.
What are my options? Do I need to connect a MUT tool to it in order to read the keys immobilizer code and then copy that code into the ecu? I know I can disable the immobilizer function in the ecu but we are trying to avoid that if possible.
Thanks
