v7 - WGDC question - 96530706 rom

ok..so coming from 0008 / 0015 rom and i'm trying out the 9653 rom.

.sidebar..i tried adding in the jdm map voltage settings/scaling/tables form the 0008 rom..ha that was a no no...car would idle but soon as you hit the gas it was like a basketball was stuck in the piping..car would never die completely but its like hitting gas with IC pipe off.

ok end side bar.

..ok so i've adjusted the main waste gate duty table all gears to reflect 100.. as a test..

also made sure to adjust the rpm/gear table for 5 speed, and tested by logging that it shows the correct gear and that works fine.

however when i fired up the car i noticed exhaust coming out of dump tube at idle..and when i log it shows 0% on the wgdc...even while driving its 0%..now i never boosted to see what happens yet because i'm still breaking things in..but in my old roms it would idle at 100% wgdc...

also the 100% wgdc before load is set for 200 load..but it still shows at 0%.

..i will check the wiring of my bcs..to make sure ..but i figured even if it was not wired right..wouldn't the ecu send the signal to make it 100% wgdc??

will do!..

however, would the 100% under 200 load table overtake that one?

Since you have an 03, you might be better off going with 94170715. It takes very little to get it tuned right and running well. Unlike the 9653 which takes a ton of work.

I am one of the original testers and wrote the majority of the XML for 94170715. Yes, I run it. Flawlessly I might add.

oh really!!

do you use ecu base boost control?

i'm going to try to use that other rom and see where that goes.

as far as my jdm map sensor is all this already in this rom? or would i still have to add the scalings separeately?

i will be doing this after work

It is all set up and ready to go. ECU boost and JDM map stuff is in it already.

so i installed this one...now my wgdc is showing 100%...however, logging is an issue...i notice the MUT table is all messed up...

every other line is all ffff

so all the even numbers on the x axis is fff's....0..2..4..and so on

was i suppose to copy over the MUT from somewhere?

PM me your email. I will send you the most up to date xml......there is a little "fix" that needs to be done for gear based boost control.

pm sent.

i did skim threw a few threads on the gear....and i did get that to work..if i log gear it is definately working 1 - 5 all show up properly.

for some reason my mut was set to show 16 items on x axis...but its scaled for 32 items...where it goes - 0 - 1 - 2 ...and so on and so forth..

so i set it to 32 and it seemed to have worked and i rescaled the x axis so the numbers line up with the mut table properly.

everything seems to be working..just trying to get 2byte air logging
