i honestly dont want to know that much about a f***n iac valve. lol v7 has like 800 tables to tune the iac valve.id rather just pay a guy to do all the idle tables because its unlikely ill ever need them again.

I was reading that earlier. But noticed that the Idle Error Normal table in phenem's rom is ISCV Demand Target Idle Trim (sub_1ECF6) in your posting for 9653 tables. The addresses for the axis' are the same, but with different scaling and labels. And I think the other 2 at the top of your post are also named/scaled differently in the phenem rom.

any chance you know where to get the table definitions for 9694011? Im really curious if the defaults are different than the 9653 defaults. Have you had to modify these tables?

Some people name tables differently. When I found the tables for 9653, I used the same names that mrfred did.

As far as 9694, someone would have to look through the ROM to define them. I don't really feel like doing that right now.

I haven't touched my car, tuning wise, in a very long time. I don't remember if I had ever adjusted any of these. I don't think so...I think all of my idle tuning and cold/war/hot starts was done simply with the BISS and then the various IPW tables. All of those can be found in mrfred's advanced fuel control thread.

so you went from 9694 to 9653 v7 and had no idle problems? id really like to see your settings on whichever tables you changed.

Yes, I did, but everything was fixed with BISS and IPW tables, from what I remember. It was quite a while ago. And since then, I have switched to E85 and FIC Bluemax 1250s. At least I think the injectors came after the switch in ROMs, but I don't remember anymore.

Old thread but do any of the posters have detailed solutions to the idle stumble and stall? I've played with increased timing, idle stability, idle error, ISCV steps. All without success. When the idle stumbles it dips to 500 rpm and the idle may recover if it doesn't stall first.

that doesnt mean anything. clearly its not setup right. when the balance between the iscv and biss is set properly the car will never dip under any condition unless the battery is dying.

I further increased my timing in the 0-1000 rpm and load up to 60 cells to 12*. That seems to have prevented my idle stumbled. Before Tephra, I ran 7* of idle timing with no issues. So this timing increase is a band aid to some other unknown parameter in Tephra (both 96530706 and 94170715). In any case, as long as the idle stumble and stall stays fixed, I'm happy.

i was gonna mention timing but figured you knew better.. atleast you figured it out. now you can enjoy driving the car again. its not a band aid fix.. thats how bigger cams are. plus if its not done smoothly in that area of the map it will create your symptoms also. temps also have an effect on these things.
