GT30R/EWG/Grimmspeed 3-port - question about boost control

Hey. I've bought GT30R for my car and wish to control boost via stock ECU. On my stock turbo it was really good thing and I don't want to loose this option.

Will it works? How should I connect vacuum lines to external wastegate?
Or maybe the simplest way will be MBC ?

Upgrade to a 3-port boost control solenoid (GM 3-port is the most widely recommended) and you are back in business.

Hello. I've searched a little bit more about differents between stock and 3-port's and didn't find the anwser. Why stock bcs will not controll EWG and 3-port will do?. Can somebody tell me how to install vacuu lines to 3-port and why one of ports must be vented ?

I am using a Grimmspeed BCS and it is great. I was having creep issues with my stock bcs spiking. Here is the link to Maperformance that has the install instructions http://www.maperformance.com/grimmsp...-ebcs-evo.html

This is a plug and play option that is the same OHM specs as the stock solenoid.

Iam also using grimspeed boost silenoid. It works great and looks stock. It also comes with 3 ports which can be used with the external wastegate.

Stock 2 port will work just fine, just have to set it up the hose a bit differently.

However, 3 port is superior in fine tuning and response

From what I have read and experienced myself. The stock 2 port cant go much further than the stock boost pressure, but im guessing that was just because it was the stock WGA. And like GST said the 3 port is much more responsive and much better for fine tuning.

Hey again. I've tested today my Grimmspeed BCS with GT30R and Tial External Wastegate with 1 bar spring.

I was set my baseline boost, BEC and baseline WGDC to zero, because I wanted try will it works.
Boost is spoolin really smooth and not agressive, holds 1 bar (that WG spring says) until about 6000 rpm, and then is gettin up to about 1.2 bar.

What am I doing wrong? Or maybe it is normally?
