hello, first of all my car is 2008 lancer EX 1.5L and its using same ECU & OBD2 port as lancer GT or EVO

i tried to read my ECU by using ECUflash & tactrix cable port 2 and it couldnt read it, stupid me i removed the key .... after that all my dash lights become flashin " check service , seat belts .....etc " and car wont start i can hear the engine tryin to start but it wont complete the proccess of starting =////

I took my car to mitsubishi dealer and they said to me we can not cummincate with your car ECU.
you have to change it to new one =((((

today i tried reading the car using EVOscan it could indentify my ECU and name it as EVOX CAN MUTII
and when i click start datelogger it never stops from receiving date .

@ the end i was tryin anythin @ the programme i pressed " CLEAR DTC'S " and it showed me error that
there is no respone from my ECU!!!!

I dont know how to use EVOscan probley or even ecuflash =/

is there a way to solve this problem without buying new ECU?

ECU is bricked, you have to take it out, bench it, and flash a known good ROM to it.

I agree with razorlab , you need 2 bench the ECU , but i couldnt do it myself.
so i had to go to the dealer and buy new ecu .......
try to do it urself or find someone who knows how .....

I would go to a junk yard, Get the harness that connects to the secu and I would reflash it with the stock rom and start over. Run the unlocker, then flash it with which ever ROM you choose, I really like the Tephra V7 ROM, EVO8 ecu in a car that is 11 years older than the ECU itself. lol

wow, how much was that new ecu from the dealer?

question, i used to have an Evo x and i had to bench my ecu myself. but now i have an evo 8 and i've never heard of someone bricking their ecu. is it possible on the 8s and 9s?
