I was just thinking because i want to replace my truboost with just a boost gauge and wanting to keep it looking like the AEM Wideband i have i could get the AEM 35PSI boost gauge which has a 0-5v output,
I could wire that into the ECU and use the correct scalings and it will work just fine correct?
Does anyone have the scalings for the AEM 3.5Bar Map Sensor? Here are the volts per pressure details
V - Pressure
0.5 = -14.7
0.75 = -11.575
1 = -8.45
1.25 = -5.325
1.5 = -2.2
1.75 = 0.925
2 = 4.05
2.25 = 7.175
2.5 = 10.3
2.75 = 13.425
3 = 16.55
3.25 = 19.675
3.5 = 22.8
3.75 = 25.925
4 = 29.05
4.25 = 32.175
4.5 = 35.3
And also the Formula for EvoScan Logging for this MAP sensor too please would be great

I have just read that the AEM 3.5Bar sensor is the same as the Kavlico 3.5Bar sensor so i dont need scalings but the EvoScan formula would be good thanks
This is good value i can replace my boost gauge and get a MAP sensor for $200

run 3 wires to it from the ecu mount however you please. In your case if the manifold isn't tapped with a MDP port that just sealed off you may be better off using a non OEM style MAP sensor like GM or alternatively tapping the manifold and using a AEM/zeitronix style sensor as you need to splice into the cpu anyways.

Just looking at this.. I own a JDM 8GSR. It uses a 3 plug ECU, not 4plug as per Evo 8MR and 9..
Would the pin numbering still be the same? I can still use pin numbers 81, 73, 92??

Accoding to this..
pin 42 is +5v
pin 46 is ground
pin 92 is the mdp sensor input

AC80, I also have an ADM Evo 8 and I would love to see how you got the MAP sensor in there. I need to do the same mod on mine so any advice would be apreciated!

Not me bud. I bought a Rev3 manifold from MAPerformance which has the provision for the MAP sensor. I imagine thought that you'd be able to drill the OEM mani where the map sensor ought to go on ours

OG, attached is my JDM 3-Bar sensor mounted after drilling and tapping the intake manifold. It's do-able, but not easy - apparently. I got a shop to do it, and they made a tool to feed through the throttle body to catch the shavings/filings instead of removing the manifold.
