Wideband/Evoscan Problem

UPDATE: GO TO POST #11.

Let me start by saying that this was the first time i have ever used Evoscan and am still learning a lot so please dumb down your answers for the everyman to understand.
Car is an 06 IX SE.
I have an AEM wideband and Evoscan v2.8. I am using 1.3U cable no pin-9.
So i started a datalog test and the wideband was not being recorded. I had the "external wideband A/F ratio" box check in evoscan and had AEM selected from the menu. There is another box in Evoscan that is labeled WBO2 and that was picking up a reading but while i was sitting at idle around 14.8 afr, evoscan was showing 10.xx afr which is obviously not right. My question is why is it not logging my wideband and why is evoscan showing those weird afrs.

Hope this is not to hard to read but any help would be appreciated. let me know if you need any additional info.

do you have the AFR logging cable and the USB connected when trying to do this, if you do not have the logging cable and the USB connecter (if needed) i can send you a URL. there 30-45 bucks,

it could also be something to do with the com port, read somewhere do the road that someone had some issues with it and had it in com port 4 switched it to com port 3 and was good, dont remember the reasoning behind it though

check your com ports before switching anything, see what is/isnt active.

but i dont have mine hooked up right now however i do believe you go to wideband option, go towards the bottom of the options and select device manger to check comports, but from there you should be able to select which one you want it on, as far as removing it lol, i havent gotten to that point. newish to it as well, but if i remember right, youll have better luck with it in com ports 1-3 sometimes 4 (hit an miss ive heard)

Just to be sure...you do have two cables running to your laptop correct?

The tactrix and then the one for the wideband?

ok, so i changed to comport 2. Now when i do a test log the afr shows but its stays at 14.9 and doesnt change at all through the whole run. Also the MUT 2byte load is some crazy number. I attached a log for you to look at.

As for the 2-Byte I changed the values in the MUT Table for logging 2byte load, airflow, and rpm.

You'll need to check which values to change for your rom id in the 2-Byte thread.
