Full ALS for a JDM evo 7 that works ???

Hello guys, sorry for this question, I have a JDM evo 7 which has an egr system...
I flashed the 90550001 rom which has the ALS parameters and also patched the Ignition retard limit to -20deg for the pops and bangs but it doesn't work, nor the ALS I set the ALS values as per the Merlins manual but still nothing works
I tried the pops and bangs on a usdm evo 8 with a v7 Tephra 965 rom and it works, but i don't think that the Als works there...
Anyways, can someone explain to me what rom or modification i have to make in order to get The ALS working? Maybe remove the entire EGR system?
Please help

Is the car fitted with the ALS pipes and solenoid?
If not, no the ALS wont work.
Most JDM 7's have the ALS code, but the 90550001 is a good choice of ROM.

Do you mean removing the EGR valve but keeping the tubes or removing the entire system?

The engine has an EGR system with a tube heading to the exhaust manifold, I opened the 2 screws holes diameter to 7mm...
Do I have to do something else?
What is the ALS solenoid?
Can you please post a pic of it?
Thanks

thats not egr system thats the sas , the egr valve is bolted to the inlet manifold just below the throttle body held on with 2 x 12mm head bolts. use a blanking plate and gasket between the manifold and egr valve then you can leave the egr valve in place
