I could go and add some timing up top but the map is safe and its making wicked power, in the U.S it would be around 500whp
318kw is 426hp, not 500.

i think he's referring to the dyno being used as well.
like comparing a mustang to a dynojet.

My setup made 315kw @ 24psi with 2.3, FP Red, S1 cams, 4" intercooler and 3" exhaust. Full boost in a 8second run at about 3600rpm.

What exhaust system are you running, and what are your intake temps doing during a run?

I covered the intercooler so that my IAT went up to 60deg (normal run was approx 30deg). Power went from 315kw to 260kw, but no knock! So i was happy the IAT ign compensation tables were working.

Cheers, Mike

Yeh im talking about the difference, power in AUS dynos are always less then in the U.S

If i run my car in VDR on DynoJet it will be around 500whp

Your making good power with low boost, thats awesome

Exhaust is a ATP 3" dump to a 3" TurboXS setup,

Intercooler is just a 3" Autobahn88 (Ebay) item

I couldnt tell you the intake temps off the top of my head but i have my sprayers working from about 14psi

Im still using the intake air temp compensations too

i would highly recommend getting a 4" intercooler, even a cheap one. I'm using an "ebay" bar and plate style, mid entry end tanks. That alone made a massive difference. My old intercooler (3" tube and fin) would get IAT to 60degC at the end of a drag run.
I am also running an Aftermarket ECU, Link G4. So that might make things a little easier.
Dyno is Dynapak too, i'm not sure how it compares to other dyno types.
i will try to do VDR stuff once i get some logs done (when the car is back together!), hopefully the Link g4 Logs will work in that program.

Cheers, Mike

Your timing looks very similar to my 2.2ltr.

I had an Autobahn88 intercooler on and then got hold of a Buschur RACE FMIC and meassured the air temp at the the cooler exit. It went from 42c on the Autobahn88 to 29c on the Buschur Race fmic after two back to back 4th gear pulls. I still hit 29psi at the same 3600rpm (4th gear on my 5 speed box) but lost a small amount of initial spool.

Im not worried about my timing map, it was picking up power per degree of timing and there was no sign of det listening to the det cans

I think the next step is a JMFab Intake mani

Check this out, this is the second time this injector has done this, they will be getting replaced

FIC 1050cc, the did it when i was first tuning it for run-in period, now it did it yesterday

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2anQBHZA7JM

As you could imagine extremely frustrating, having the car die and pretty much hydro lock and have to get it towed...

Anyway car is sweet, ive got my stock injectors in there for the moment while i wait for some replacement injectors

Comp test was good across all 4 swapped the oil out, check piston top to rocker cover to make sure they all match and all is sweet

What about AFR?
I think 4deg@ peak boost is a bit too much...

AFR is low 11's no knock listening with DET cans so i guess its not too much and it was also picking up some power too and torque
