Anything else I can do with with my tune?

I've maxed out my tune in terms of my capabilities and what I know. I've been trying to improve the lag on my setup, but this is the best I've come up with. I don't know if there's more tricks out there or I'm just stuck with the combination of hardware I've chosen (mods in the sig).

Here's a pull I just did. The bad news is that I seem to see other BBK-Full setups spooling slightly faster than mine. The good news is that my redline power seems to head to the moon more so. It's currently tuned to just about knock threshold. I also included the log of this power graph.

One test I did tonight was increase the timing at 3500rpms til it knocked. It started at 13 degrees and ended at 21-22* before it knocked. When I compared dyno graphs, no power was improved, so I reverted back to 13 degrees there. Something just looks odd about running 20* at 3500rpms.

Can anyone kindly offer any tips for me to improve lag?

By the way, I fixed my last boost leak last night (throttle body shaft seals).

13* at 3500 is too much regardless of gas used.

So you're saying I should go the opposite and start lowering timing at spoolup? I've done that before on a different setup and I just lost power.

What is your timing at peak load? If its 13, its way too high.

Peak load hits at 4000rpms, with 8* timing.

^Agreed! 13* at (assuming) peak torque is way harsh! On my E85 tune im only running 4-5* to keep the torque curve conservative since im still on stock internals...On my pump gas tune im only running 2-3* at peak torque...I dunno if your running E85 or not but your timing numbers out the top are also right at the max for even E85!

Although I suppose if you tune that much timing with AFR's on the richer side it would possibly work out...

The evo8's can take a lot more timing than the 9s, everywhere across the board.

have you thought of tossing a 3 port on it? From what Ive read/seen, it should help you gain some WGDC in the lower RPM over the static nature of the MBC.

I've heard mixed reviews on 3-ports when it comes to spoolup. I haven't convinced myself to switch yet though.
