How to E85 EVO9

Hello evom i've been searching the forums for 3 days now, and have been unsuccessful. I'm looking to switch over to e85 via ecuflash with some good drivabilty. I can't seem to find any write ups as far as a starting point to get my car running on e85. Yes i have been searching the forums for info. My car has pump and injectors, just need to convert. Thanks

your asking how to tune it?

also if you don't have a wide band might want to add one.

A starting point is as easy as changing your injector scaling to a 30% smaller number. Then tune from there.

thats it huh. Nice!

What kind of AFR's should i be shooting for, cruise, mid and high wot?

AFR's are a little confusing to me with switching to e85. Saying i didn't change the wideband to E85, would i be shooting for similar afr's as 93? Any benifit to switching the wideband to e85?

THanks

Once you go 30% smaller on injector scaling then have a look at your fuel trims, they should be descent. Just keep closed loop fueling as is for less headache. For spool up into WOT shoot for 12.1 gasoline AFR. Timing is a whole different ballgame... if you are on stock block I would aim for 0* at peak torque and keep the torque below 400lbft. You can pass MBT without knock so be weary of that as well... What size injectors are you running BTW, that will determine if it is even feasible to swap to E85...

Good point! Single wally and 1000 pte's. I know i'm under fueled, but i figure E85 should still net some more power keepin the IDC's undercontrol. Then wait for this so called walbro e85 pump to come out and upgrade the injectors. And at that point i have a lot of the e85 tunning done already.

So your thinking just switching to e85 won't be worth it for now?

Depends on your goals... If you got bigger injectors, a single modded wally on E85 will only get you to around 480-500hp (dynojet) anyway...
