Openport 2.0 and Mac? HELP

So I just got a new macbook air, its pretty effing awesome, as I got it to replace my home/tuning laptop due to the portability.

I got it all pimped out with vmware running a 'lite' version of windows 7 with all of my tuning software installed. Was really pumped until I connected it to my openport for the first time- It didn't want to connect.

Puzzled, I vaguely remembered ecuflash had a mac option, so I gladly went back to ecuflash's website and downloaded the mac version.

Opened it up, and no dice.

Im trying multiple different variations of stuff, and I have vmtools running, so all of the hardware should be working as it should, so what gives?

anyone running ecuflash or evoscan with an openport on a mac? Please help!

Ecu Flash for Mac is good to edit your ROM but you will have some problems to log and Read/write your Ecu directly (some drivers problems).
I am a Mac user and I have Ecu Flash running on Parallel to log and work on the car and I use Ecu Flash and XLS on the OSX side to edit and tune my ROM.
Hope this help,
Cheers,

I'm doing the same. I just run Parallel on my mac. Evoscan and ecuflash just run off win 7 only. I used to dual boot but got tired of it pretty quick. OSX Lion 3 finger "OS switching" ftw!

i have no experience with an op2.0 but on my 1.3 cable i had no issues flashing/logging through parallels. although i still think im having wideband logging issues.

and i caved and bought a cheap dell since my mac battery only lasts like 20 minutes.
