is there a way to log fuel pressure?

i am wondering if there is a way to log fuel pressure threw the stock ECU? i know it can be done with aftermarket gauges and such but how about threw the stock ecu.

is it being done and if not can it be done and how.

You would have to see if tephra (or another ecu guy) has found an extra ADC input for the CT9A platform, then put a sensor in the car (since the car doesn't have one from the factory to monitor fuel pressure), wire it, then have the ECU code to make it work.

It might be easier, as you mentioned, to have an external gauge do this.

That's my .02 anyway

with the obd-2 force pass inspection patch there are those 2 sensors that are not needed under the hood. you could use those pins since those sensors are not needed. or is it not that easy? haha.

i might just buy a gauge but id like to be able to do a log and see FR in real time with the log.

That is a good point. That means there is a ADC available both physically and in the code. Hrmm, your best bet would be to shoot tephra a PM about this.

I currently have my AEM Wideband and AEM Oil Pressure gauge wired to the rear o2 input of the ecu and i log them through evoscan. If i had a fuel pressure gauge as well, i could wire it the same way, i would just have to come up with a formula for evoscan.

So, yea, its doable.

I was thinking Zeitronix ZT2, but only does temp. Could be good if a pressure sensor could be set up.
