Load 1byte falling under high load?

I have been fighting a boost issue for some time now. Ive been running the tephra v7 ROM. 94170715. The car acts like the ignition system is weak under full boost but i've done some testing and know its not. Im still trying to figure out the issue so I figured Id ask here with some findings Ive had recently.

I noticed in my logs when the car starts to stutter that the load 1byte will sometimes fall to almost 0 when the 2byte load is up in the mid 200's. Has anyone every experienced this? I dont know if its a possible cause to my stutter under full boost or just a coincidence. Or does 1 byte have no affect and the car is only using 2 byte to adjust timing/fuel?

Unfortunately I recently deleted a bunch of logs because I didnt feel I was getting anywhere. So Im hoping someone can chime in with a similar experience or know whats wrong.

what is the 1byte scale set to? if its 1 then you'll max out the value at 255 change to 1.2 the should see you to 255*1.5 = 306 load etc

It is currently set at 1.1. Ill change it to 1.2 and see if it makes any difference.

Could this difference between the two cause for a misfire/stutter when it happens?

no this is only for logging, make sure that the value in evoscan matches that in ecuflash
