peak torque late ?

hi all,

Wondering why peak torque is coming on late? From other logs I've seen, it looks like with my setup torque s/b coming on sooner.
Wastegate is relatively new, half hole tensioned.

Also, maps came with car when I bought it, I'm not sure why Timing is so advanced @ lower loads.

Constructive suggestions need only apply.

log @ end of post

thanks for looking.

My guess is too much timing during spool up.

yeah, from looking @ multiple other timing maps, my timing looked way too much during spool up.

I'll pull some and see if makes a difference.

thanks wizzo

I'm sure you already know but make sure you don't have any boost leaks either.

roger that, did one last week.

typically should I be adjusting AFR while pulling timing?
Based on timing map above, it looks like I s/b pulling quite a bit in load areas 120-180 throughout the RPM range.

What are you using to measure torque? A dyno? if so can i see the Graph. Virtual dyno, also Graph. Or some other ingenuitive means? Aslo +1 on the pre-load. Also where is your Wideband sensor? Clamped at the Tail pipe or in the rear o2 bung, or on the o2 house right off the turbo?

Virtual Dyno.
93 octane
Wideband sensor is in 1st bung of test pipe.
AEM white output wire directly into ECU.
Tephra V7 - 96530706

I'll take a look @ wastegate tension, maybe crank it up a turn.

Pulls are being done on the same exact stretch of road in 3rd gear.

adjusted timing map a bit

I just put in Omni 4 bar yesterday, not sure why it's only reading to 18 or so.

Fic BlueMax 1450.

take a look @ log. Still seems to come on a bit late? Should I lean it out a little more 3500-4000?

Ok, I'll drop it a bit and see if it helps.

For a car with my mods @ 3500 rpms' where should boost and load be?

I shortened waste gate arm to where actuator hole is little more then 1/2 hole. Tested it with compressor. Opens a around 18 psi.
Did a boost leak test to 25 psi , can't hear or see(soapy water) a thing.
