JB how low can you make the 9V? I'm down to .120 with no change in warm start-ups from .98
Cold - cranks, catches at about the 2nd revolution, dies...second time it catches on 1st or 2nd crank and stays running
Hot - cranks, catches about the 2nd revolution and stays running

when cranking ecu holds 5* timing, log cranking advance and you'll see it for yourself.

I tried a few more things. I actually made my 7V and 9V latency settings 0.000 and the car started up the same exact way as it usually does in hot/cold/warm conditions. After that I went through the global fuel start up options in my ROM and I set every single thing to 0 in all the tables (I did not touch the post cranking tables) -
Initial cranking IPW vs coolant
Cranking IPW Comp vs Time
Start IPW latency mcsec
IPW comp starting
and the car still started up the exact same way cold/warm/hot...does something have to be set to utilize these settings? It wasn't until I set my cranking primer initial pulse to 0 that the car wouldn't start. I set it back to the values it was before and it started as normal. That seems to be the only table to make any difference...does this make sense to anyone?

"cranking primer initial pulse" - if you gradually make it lower, does it make any difference for you?
also, as Aaron said, have you tried changing your "BFPW Startup Comp" tables?

It's almost like it's an on/off switch. I've tried making it lower and it doesn't seem to matter. It's down to 1.4 from 3.4 and I'm not seeing it any easier to start. My ratio of stock to current injectors is .386 so is that the percentage I should be aiming for?
Here's what I've tried for the values below -
122
170.6
179.6
4
3.4
3.4
3
2.4
2.4
and
5
3.4
3.4
My main issue is the 122 and 171 numbers. I've logged my car when it's sat overnight and the coolant temp registers right around 80. When it's super hot right after shutting it off it fires right up like the story is with everyone else. How much should I be moving this value? .01 at a time? .1? 1?
BFPW Startup Comp table doesn't exist in my ROM...at least not that I can find. Any idea what that table was ported to in the 965 ROM?
Thanks for your help guys!

I have pretty much the same issue (well, it was my thread ininitally before guys hijacked it) and I absolutely don't mind to have my issue solved once and forever as well No PM so far

Today I've ran another experiment. I've turned closed loop OFF as some guys here insisted there's no way to tune Evo using stock ECU and 1000+ cc injectors. OK, for experiment I've disabled closed loop and the car in open loop behaves exactly like it was before! Cold start is OK (first or second revolution), hot start is near OK (4-5-6th revolution) and warm start (car left for more then an hour, engine coolant is around 50 degrees C) is bad: starts nearly immediately then dies. Next starts are fine but it still does not go up and running well from my point of view. Also car is trying to turn OFF when I stop pushing GAS pedal immediately and idle is not perfect. I've attached EvoScan log for my start attempt. Anything weird in the log? Except I se batt is going pretty low when engine RPM drops.
Thank you!
Thank you!
