Speed density iddle 'n

I downloaded the Tephra v7+Sd for my evo ix , I copied over all the tables such as, immobolizer, fuel injector scaling latencies, ignition maps , fuel maps etc.... I also have an Omni 4 bar which I scaled using the correct values along with editing all the XML definitions. After setting up my v7 map I flashed it to my car and the car started right away idle fine for maybe 15-20 seconds then is started to idle like crap. AFR's are bouncing from 12's to 17's then eventually it goes so lean it starts sputtle a little then it goes back to being rich (12's afr). Also , the rpms are bouncing from 900 to 1300 back in forth is almost like if I was reving it and letting off the throttle. I logged the car and the STFT are -2 -1 -1/ +1 +2 so that's tells me my injectors are scaled correctly can some one please help me

yeah. you need to read that thread. Basically, you still need to disable closed loop and tune fuel. The car always runs different for the first few seconds, then settles to normal. Your BISS may need to be reset also. Ive noticed everytime I switch roms, I have to reset the BISS.

Biss is key #1, openloop should definitely allow you to be mroe stable at idle. Im having a heck of a time getting SD to be consistent @ idle. after some warmup cycles i have to tweak ve to get my OL afr back to sync. CL it will hunt AFR all over the place yet. Theres a knack for it that I havent gotten yet... but im workin on it!

Im idling at 7* hks 272's, some mivec advance at idle, helped to stabilize my idle too. aswell as some iscv tweak

Base idle set screw. top of body. Turn on the sas actuator in evoscan 1st, then adjust the biss to 100 rpm or so below your target idle
