I would like to test this as well when complete. I started doing this bluetooth Android route a long time ago (there is some thread somewhere in here) and had MUT logging fine and DTC clearing, etc, right from my Android phone with the wireless bluethooth OBD dongle. But, just never had time to develop it into something nice. Also, even though it was MUT requests being logged, the speed was still OBDII. I'd be interested in seeing the final product here.

dual core overclocked to 1.25GHz don't see a issue at all. resolution another issue but I own 2 android tablets and those would be ideal. could even go cheap route with kindle fire and load ICS Rom and it only cost you 199.00 for a super compact device. this will be game changer when available.

BTW which interface will be used with Android Evoscan? Will it be bluetooth obd2 interface supported only? Are there any plans to implement OP2.0 connectivity via USB OTG host?

Bought one of these...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-7-Inch-2...item3f11894b05

...and asked EvoScan about android (as I want to use this system to run extra gauges) and got this response:

"The EvoScan GPSNav will have more features than the android version. most android screens aren't as bright in sunlight as the evoscan gpsnav.

once I have completed the new EvoScan GPSnav version I will go back and finish the android app.

Regards,
Hamish Ahern.

So sounds like its still in the pipeline. Pretty keen to see how it works out.

Hamish... YOU ROCK! Do your thing. Im installing full cpu, xp64/virtual android 2.2 froyo, voice command, on 8" in dash touch screen. Full time connection for on the fly attempt at voice tuning the EVO on the fly! Did I say Voice command and EVO on the fly..? Yes I did! Project photos to come.

Thanks again for all your hard work Hamish.
