Test pull - how does it look?

Hey all,

Did a test run near my house today only from 2k to 6kish to get an idea of where I stand before I start getting tuned. Just wanted to get some folks impressions on how the car is currently. Here is my list of mods:
  • mail in flash
  • buschur intake
  • buschur turbo back exhaust with hfc and bullet muffler
  • Suspension mods.

I realize I forgot to modify the JDM 3bar sensor to my local pressure, so I think it should be around +1 psi to what the graphs say. (4000ft)

How do you read these to know when the turbo is spooled? pretty much when it hits max boost so ~3500 in my case?

What fuel is this on?? That's a lot of timing at peak torque for pump gas. Fueling needs some work too.

OOops forgot to put that. 91 octane 3500ft elevation. Yeah the tune needs serious work and is going to be done fresh soon

I agree it is a way too much timing @ peak torque.
I will add some timing before 3000 and progressively go down to 3-4 around 3500RPM.
Add some timing after 4000 RPM.
Regarding AFR, you should lean before 3500 and make it smoother in the 5k range.
Since you live @ 3500ft high, remember to recalculate your load before working on the map to be in the right cel. I also recommend to stay <11.0 AFR after 5000RPM cause of the altitude.
Hope it hels,
Cheers

Just rename the extension file from .txt to .csv and open it with Excel!

Why would you run richer because of altitude? Personally I see no reason to go under 11.0 AFR.

Hello my friend from Quebec!
I agree 11.0 is right (I should have wrote <=11.0:-)
I won't go leaner because I have observed that @ same AFR, EGT is going up with altitude (probably cause of lower air density)
Baro compensation table on the ECU is not working correctly upper 4500ft, I know our friend is @3500 but without EGT, I will recommend to go safe.
That's my point of view.
Cheers

Thanks everyone for your help =). I'm quite eager to get the car retuned as I know at least my mivec table is still stock.

I tried to upload the file as a csv but I think I remember the forum rejected the file type (although at that time I also had another 80k of commas I had not noticed a the end of the file so maybe that was the issue lol).

You can't upload csv's. Good call on uploading as a txt, easier to rename the extension back to csv rather than unzipping it.
