Take the time to drive to a shop or have a road tune done, its worth the time especially when your doing a lot of mods.
I know ams has a huge rep but i have seen some pisspoor tunes come out of their shop, when looking over the ones ive seen you can tell they didnt spend much time on refining them or tuning the drivability of the car and this was confirmed by the way the cars drove when they werent at WOT.

Honestly, my buddy had gotten tuned from AMS, the car didnt feel as strong as we thought it would. So we got a 2nd opinion , we took his car to another tuner in Chicago. He re-tuned it and it ran great!!
So he felt he waste his money at AMS and gave them a call. They said their tunes are geared more towards "reliability" then "performance". I just thought thats a bunch of crap. The car felt TOTALLY DIFFERENT when we took it to the other tuner.
I'm not trying to diss AMS , just giving my .02 cents.
