Question help needed - 'Ignition Coil Charge Time'

have two questions, there are three tables in 9653 rom

Ignition Coil Charge Time
Ignition Coil Charge Time (unknown1)
Ignition Coil Charge Time (unknow 2)

which one to alter to make changes in coil dwell times ?

and the second question, there are scalings in unit8, when I changed it to m/seconds got 244 @ 12v

does that mean 2.44 m/sec.?

sorry if too dumb question this last one

Just the first one. I think I had that all posted in the Coil Dwell thread I did awhile ago-

The ChargeTime (Coil Dwell Time) scaling needs to be:

<scaling name="ChargeTime" units="mS" toexpr="x*0.064" frexpr="x/0.064" format="%.2f" min="0" max="255" inc="1" storagetype="uint8" endian="big"/>

For the second dwell correction, I use this scaling

<scaling name="CF256" units="Correction Factor" toexpr="x/256" frexpr="x*256" format="%.3f" min="0" max="1" inc="0.0039" storagetype="uint8" endian="big"/>

There is a 2-byte rpm parameter associated with Dwell time, usually set to 0x0A77 which is 2800rpm. The thinking is the second correction is somehow applied at 2800rpm, presumably to lengthen the dwell time.

It works out very similar to "Crank degrees of charge time" in some standalones.
