Does anyone have the 1.02 version of the apk. I cant download it from the website and I contacted hamish but i havent heard back yet so i figured i would reach out here. please PM me if you have it.
Thank you!
NEVERMIND I got in touch with hamish and he sent me the apk. Its on version 1.03 now btw but his online authentication was not working for me at the moment so i cant download any of the gauge templates on the initial startup. If someone would be kind enough to make a zip of their evoscan folder on the evodroid with the newer version of the apk and pm it to me i would be forever greatful!
Thank you!

Yep. Turning USB debugging on was the first thing that I tried.
Any clues as to the circumstances under which a Nexus 7 did work? I was thinking that Android 4.4 might be the problem.
Under some circumstances, (as I recall it was when evoscan was not running) upon hooking up to the 3.0DA, I would get a message to the effect that the Nexus had detected something plugged in but that it was not equipped to deal with it, plus a link to IOIO software . The link took me deep into a linux/android development site with nothing of any immediately obvious use to me.
Is the 3.0DA related to IOIO or Eclipse in any way?

I could buy Kindle HD7, but I want to have the tablet fitted into the dash. There seems to be more info on how to do with with Nexus 7.

I did spend a bit of time last night upgrading Nexus7 to 5.1.1 and rooting it. What's really holding me from buying a Kindle Fire (even though they seems to work well with evodroid), is that I'm not crafty and installing one of this to fit into a dual DIN slot may be tricky.
I wish someone made a generic table mount that slots into a DIN or double DIN slot..

AFAIK it's a separate product to EvoScan and needs to be purchased. Getting a hold of APK won't do as you need a valid key to work.
