Idle AFR and Cruise AFR rich HELP

I am being tuned remotely right now and my car seems to be running fine but according to my (2 months old) evo prosport wideband gauge my car idles at 14.4- 14.1 and it consistently cruises at 14.1.. I have been pulling my hair out trying everything to get it to run stoich at 14.7. I replaced my front o2 sensor yesterday and cleaned my maf sensor with crc maf cleaner and its still is doing this. My tuner wants to stay away from scaling my maf and thinks my maf could be crapping out on me. I can post a log of my car at idle in evoscan and I can post one of it cruising. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!

Mine idles and cruises at the same AFR's.

I'm running hks 272 cams (mild cams). Been through 5 tunes and it still idles at 14.1-14.4

Do you have cams? BTW at that AFR there's nothing wrong with that and I wouldn't really call it rich.

Yes I have hks 272 cams. I just know that it should be at 14.7 and don't understand why it isn't. I know that cruising around 14.1 isn't going to give me as good of gas mileage. I guess I just shouldnt worry about it? I just thought that idle and cruise AFR around 14.1-14.4 were not common..

No, that's not normal. Are you on stock injectors?

As far as I know it's nothing to worry about or freak out over. Even my street tuner gave me a quick "it's because you have cams" reason as why I don't run stoich.

I have been running at 14.1 - 14.4 for plenty of miles on stock injectors and when i went to 880's it didnt change. Uncommon maybe, but dangerous/threatening hell no.

Plenty have cams and still run stoich (myself included). Sounds like an excuse to not finish the job/not find the real cause.

Well all I know is that idling/cruising a little rich just eats up a little bit of gas.
5 tuners have been through my car and each one told me these AFR's are just fine. Plus my idle is set at 1K rpms so that might be another reason why for me. Couldn't handle the cam lope with all 4 motor mounts when i bought it.

If it's something in the tune, then yes, the tuner should be able to fix it. I don't see what could cause it in the tune though other than running full time open loop and not having the fueling set properly.

If it's a mechanical issue then obviously the tuner can't fix it, but he should notice it and attempt to figure out what's wrong and what's causing it so it can be fixed by you.

How do you test the maf? and here is a log that I just did. At first I cruise in 2nd gear at 2500 rpm and then pull over and let it idle. (zip file)
