HELP ASAP!can't Read/write to ECU. Error in ECU flash. Log provided

Hey guys, I was trying to flash a slightly modified version of my current rom onto my evo x (Just changed one of the DTC Disables from enabled to disabled). The rom flashed successfully, and the log said interface close, however, the fan didn't turn off like it normally does when the interface closes. I tried reading the ECU and I get this:

[12:56:33.268] J2534 API Version: 04.04 [12:56:33.268] J2534 DLL Version: 1.00.3210 Nov 22 2010 23:18:50
[12:56:33.268] Device Firmware Version: 1.12.3688
[12:56:33.268] Device Serial Number: TAQ94cjV
[12:56:34.686] -- loading kernel --
[12:56:34.686] -- connecting to kernel --
[12:56:34.686] kernel get version
[12:56:35.108] ECU HW part number : 1860A979
[12:56:35.639] interface close
[12:56:35.670] interface close

I also tried re-flashing the ecu back to the old rom and it gave me the same problem. The Car won't start now either. Please help!!!

Am I going to have to bench the ECU?

First thing try loading a factory rom. Sometimes for me that has worked to recover. If that does not work then you will have to bench.

flash back to stock and without turning the ignition off select "exit programming state"
