Hey folks,

Finally got bored enough to start poking around the ECU on my car and figured I'd like to learn about this tuning business.

When I read the ROM file from the car I get an "Unknown ROM Image" pop up that asks me for three options (delete, copy, inherit). If I've been googling this correctly, it's because I don't have the correct XML definition files to read the ROM properly. Knowing Tom, I believe he uses TephraMOD7, so I found that thread, and tephra's website, downloaded the USDM evo 8 XML file (94170715). And it still gives me the same "unknown ROM Image". The file saves as an .SRF file, and evom won't let me attach it for some reason.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

If I go through the inherit option on the pop up like a old post told me to.

If i click on "evo 7 base", I get unknown length,

If I click on any other it says 94171715

Which is....

NEVERMIND! I found a zip file that had more tephra mod's in it and that seemed to make everything work
