Didnt you uninstall and install evoscan? If so, did you delete all the evoscan files as well before install?

No changes were made to my laptop when this happened. My tuning laptop doesn't even connect to the web. My spare laptop which also has tuning abilities does, suffers same issue. Ill certainly post a screen shot after work

Rats
I've had this happen temporarily to some customers. It was just a matter of closing and reopening after making changes in EvoScan, reinstalling or going into the EvoScan XML.

I know your problem is different due to using 2 different laptops, but I'd check the xml file anyway.

Maybe. I'm backing up mine right now

Seriously though, I suppose you can rule out the ecu since you tried it on a spare. Also, you can rule out the laptops. I'm thinking you maybe correct that it is the cable or from the OBDII plug to the ECU.

Look at your XML for Evoscan and see if you find anything weird. You can send it to me too at puredriveperformance@gmail.com

1) evoscan is reading data properly to use inside of itself for the map tracer.

2) my innova scan tool displays data properly.

I see this occasionally, its not an ECU problem, seems to be an EvoScan thing.

Turn off EvoScan when it happens, then start it again usually fixes it for me, on two laptops.

What do you mean turn off? Stop logging? Close and re open?

Close and reopen has been done , as well as multiple logs in a session. With careful entry order and selection I'm still tuning its just a pita when I look for data in the csv

Close and re-open I mean.

This typically happens if I stop looging a parameter that was enabled.

Found the problem

"Merge delimiters" was selected on my open office screen. But now my vd in both evoscan and vd itself show just straight lines for dyno pulls FMFL I'm saving for a real ecu ASAP
