Unable to read DTCs

I have recently upgraded my evoscan copy to ver2.9, but now, I'm unable to read/clear DTCs.
I've been attempting to read a DTC on a JDM evo7 but I get a "no response from vehicle ecu" message!

The DTC box is set to 'OBDII all 96-06 EVO7/8/9'
Device setup is 'Mitsubishi MUTIII'
ECU selection box is 'EFI'

Any possible solution to this issue?

Hmm, I don't have periphery 2 fca defined in the stock 7 JDM rom (98640014) or in version 9055 v5.1. I only have it in v7.
Is this a common issue with 7's roms?
Can I add it to the stock or 5.1 rom

Yes I did some data logging before my attempt to read DTCs, I also flashed a rom file. Is it a common issue with 7s?
I'd think that fca bit0 would be '1' be default... correct?
I'll add the code you sent me & see how it goes.

Thanks Todd

I hate to state such an obvious thing but figured I would throw this out there. I used to run into the same issue a lot with ver2.8. I had to restart my laptop and then it would work fine. I have no idea why it did that or why restarting my computer fixed it but that was my experience.

Now with ver2.9 I have yet to have this issue but maybe its just a coincidence. Figured I would mention it though because its such a simple thing to do and it could be your issue.

I have the same issue as you with 2.8 but with 2.9 everything is fine.
