Evo 8 ecu clicks?
Just got the wiring harness done for my 1991 Galant vr4 evo 8 ecu swap done. Hooked the ecu up, disabled the immobilizer, evo 8 knock sensor and swapped the firing order. I also scaled back the injector size to 450cc and im still trying to figure out what the correct settings for the stock 1g maf sensor would be, so if anyone knows that, that would help also?
But, I can get the car started, for a few seconds, but then the ECU clicks and its as if the fuel and/or spark shuts down and the car shuts off. I can then, restart the car and again it does the same thing. The ecu clicks and then the car turns off.
In the first few seconds, probably 5-10 seconds, the car runs great, good throttle response, but the ecu clicks and the car shuts off. Is this a known or common problem?
Thanks for any help at all!

After the ecu clicks and the car dies, are you still getting power to the proper pins within the ecu. I'm looking at it from a wiring standpoint rather then it being an ecu issue..
