Nlts rpm drop

What rpm does nlts use to subtract rpm drop from the main rev limiter or the stationary rev limited?reason I want to know is that I want to test at a lower rpm

If you are over the engagement load and speed then NLTS will drop the rpm wherever you push in the clutch. So whether your at 4k or 8k rpm and you push in the clutch it will drop the amount you put into rpm drop.

You can test it by setting load and speed to 0 and just rev the engine and push in the clutch and make sure the rpm drops.

Right on does not work like the subie nlts. I drop 650 rpm on an evo ix 5 speed (rs)

You can test it at any rpm, like wot @ 2500-3000 and over 110 load is easy to test

So with load and speed set to 0 with an rpm drop at 800.lets say I rev steady to 2000 rpm and push the clutch in it should drop to 1200rpm in theory

Yes, for the "garage test" you'll want low tps. Basically just enough to get you to free-rev to 3k or something like that.

What rom version? You shouldn't have to copy anything, the xml info is already in the v7 xml.

Hey guys I figured I'd bump this old thread vs making a new one.
I just enabled my nlts and set the rpm drop to 1200 to start with.

I feel like I could go much lower, what do most set the rpm drop to on a 5spd ?

My previous vehicle had a n2mb nlts box so it was set off a timer instead of rpm.
