Tune for new transmission

So i just switched from my stock evo8 tranny to a stock evo9 tranny/T-case and I am just wondering if anybody could give me some tips on things I need to adjust for the tune. I had the car tuned by Strictly Modified and they did a wonderful job but i am confident i can make the necessary tweaks on my own I just would like to hear other peoples thoughts in case I overlook anything. Thanks!

Obviously I'll be focusing mainly on timing/load scenarios but I am sure there are other items that require adjustments such as the gear ratio data and bits like that..

You overthink it, no tune needed. Do your break in and call it done.

Actually the reason I am thinking about adjusting the tune is that the 1st gear is significantly longer than my VIII had and i have noticed that there seems to be a slight lag now that I never experienced before and I have noticed similar side effects in other gears as well.

If the gear ratios are different then of course the car will feel different. There's nothing really that needs to be changed in the ECU though.

X2^^

It may have been an old problem you already had that became more obvious now with the new longer ratios. You can still post a log of AFR, boost, WGDC, and timing at WOT + shifting.

Ok I just figured maybe with new/different load situations at given RPM ranges there might be room for improvement at least with timing etc. But I will try to get some time to get some logs and post them.
