tuning help/advice

I live in Augusta Ga and we have no tuning shops around. Atlanta is about the closest answer. Anyone recommend a good shop that isnt outrageously priced? Top speed quoted $800ish. I have a 06 evo mr with injen front mount and piping kit, tubular manifold, tubular o2 housing, 3 in exhaust and gsc s2 cams. I was assuming this ould be a simple quick tune. they said 3-4 hours. Also thinking about tuning it myself. I have a open port 2.0 from my eclipse. Not sure if it will work.

A few of us do remote tuning. I charge a lot less than a shop, and it's about the same amount of time, but we'd be working together. I can tune MAF or SD. And yes, your Open Port 2.0 will work for your Evo. You'll need EvoScan if you don't have it already.

Give Christian at Pure Drive a chance, you will not be disappointed. He's just finishing up with my car and I must say he is a brilliant tuner and very easy to work with!

Can't argue with that. I'm sure you'll do fine. Just start conservative.
