One thing I tried today that eliminated the biggest surges( and I have a fb 70mm tb) was to take all the cts demand adders and zero the 180* % demand. I really get my idle surge if the car idles for a while.

But my butterfly is opened so with the speed adjust screw actuator on I'm about 750 . The issue is when I actuate sas ign locks at 5 and tying to set a 750 rpm idle with 5 locked ignition is crappy with s2 cams .

Did you try richer? I found adding fuel on idle has the most effect on how smooth the idle is with cams. From 5* to 14* did smooth as much as from closed loop idle to open loop 13.2AFR idle.
But I'm more speaking about not having cam lope. Raptord issue is a more "amplified" RPM variation. Sorry for the off topic (but rats started it )
