ECU thinks I have a MAF again...

But I'm on SD...

So I was in EcuFlash today, felt like getting my Cosworth M3's to lope again. Adjusted the MIVEC numbers at idle, pressed "write to ECU", no biggie...I've been through this a million times. Halfway through the write, I got an error (forget what it said) and it said to press the "write to ECU" button again to finish writing the map. Well I did and it went fine.

However, I went to drive the car a little later and it ran like utter crap. Pulled the codes and I got a P0113, P0102, and a P2228...all of which I believe are MAF related. So I'm guessing the car is in some kind of limp mode right now because it's not getting any signal from the MAF, because there is no MAF.

So my question is, how do I get the ECU back to the way it was? I'm not a tuning guru so I'm not sure how SD exactly works, whether it disables the MAF or tricks it into thinking there's one or whatever...I don't know.

How do I disable the MAF and/or get the ECU to think the MAF is still there?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: My rom is 88590015 if that helps any...I'm gonna need a step by step process because I'm clueless when it comes to tuning Evos. I can rip the motor apart and put it back together but tuning is beyond me.

I did that and still no good. Not sure if I should clear the codes or pull the battery though. Would that do anything?

Thanks

Pulled the battery, reflashed the old map and it's still coming up with those codes so I'm guessing it still thinks it has a MAF.

Anybody???

You should hook a maf up to see if they go away with your current flash. Leave it in the intake tract too

Or

Flash an earlier base rom and eliminate the rom as corrupt. I've had a rom or two corrupt in me before

First: 88590015 is a MAF ROM. Is that a typo?

Second: Try a fresh tephra V7 ROM, new XML pack and copy over your tables. 100% sure that this procedure will solve your problem.
