Cold start idle with fresh build

Cold start idle with fresh build
I just installed a new motor and I remember my car having a pretty high cold start idle does anyone have any settings I could use to bring it down ? I really don't want this motor seeing 2500 rpm first thing.

I've read a lot on this and I see lots of different approaches. Unfortunately I can't afford to play with all these ideas as I'm waiting to do first crank on this motor.
