Hey guys, switch from 9417 back to 9653 (car just drives better on 9653 for some reason and smoother) and I've hit into the cold start high idle problem (goes up to 2000rpms for about 2 minutes, when target is 1016rpms) that I've read about. only have this problem on the 9653 rom and not the 9417 rom. ISCV demand, fuel cut delay, idle stepper table, and the fuel settings are all literally the same. I do notice I'm missing one table that I've on the 9417 but do not have on the 9653 rom.

on 9417 it is

I do not know if I have it on the 9653 xml definition, would this table be the cause of idle hanging higher on cold starts at 2000rpms since I do not have this table to modify on the 9653 rom? Every table is the same but I do not have this one for 9653 to control ISCV adder post crank.

What have you guys who use 9653 done to remedy the high idle on cold start.

No one knows the address of that table for the 9653 v7 rom?

I put it back on the 9417 v7 rom with exact same settings and cold start is perfect. no 2000rpm idle hang. I did have to adjust more +% ISCV demand on warm start up to start up perfectly on 9417 though, don't know why. guess it could be how some tables interpolate in comparison to where there addressed to on different roms.

I am in the same boat. After build my new 2.0 engine I have cold start rpm's at about 2000 rpm. My rom is 90550001. Before everything was good.

EDIT: today i've zeroed my 3 desired ISCV initial step position tables and it worked. I don't know how it's possible but my rpm's are exactly like in rom
