be aware that when i did the low pulse adder tables for the X, I stuffed up the axis/def..

it should be 0x41 (ie 65 elements) not 41... so the table should be a lot longer...

you can still use the same address, but use this as the def:

<table name="Low Pulse Width IPW Adder" category="Fuel" type="2D" level="2" scaling="IPW_Adder_div_2">
<table type="Static Y Axis" elements="65">

Dave, the text parser behavior seems to have taken a turn for the worse, and most things with LT or GT symbols get stripped, and quoting doesn't bring it back. What you just posted is already not working even in quote.

I found that I need to use the ASCII or HTML symbols for LT and GT.

EDIT: I see you did that but did not wrap the number values with "data" ... "/data".

So, I used an interpolation formula and came out with the following numbers for EVO X. Looks about right to me. Comments? Blue curve is Evo9, Orange is EvoX.

MFRED, can you tell us if the FIC 1650's were low Z or High Z?

I am assuming Low Z.

Also, do you find that the small the injector, the more IPW Linearization is needed, or is it the bigger the injector, the more linearization?

Thanks,

1650s are High z..

Sir, please read this thread. Very informative https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...ion-table.html

Thank you, I thought they were low Z.

Sir, please read this thread. Very informative Injector flow rate linearization table
I have, and it was kinda unclear, but maybe I am not grasping concepts on this.
I'll have another gander.

Big injectors will be non linear in some areas .

Different combination of mods make injector behavior better or worse.

I use other people's experiences in tuning big injectors and most of the time it works.

Unfortunately, on my situations, it hasn't gone so good. PTE 1200's to get them to run on my setup, are no where near any of the threads suggest them to be scaled or latencies at, without great addition from MAF ADDER. Same goes for the FIC 1350's I have as well. I have to always add a ton to the MAF Adder, or scale them down so far, that they are running at about 3/4th what they should be at.

So I was curious as to how this is calculated.

[QUOTE=Raceghost;11692483]Thank you, I thought they were low Z.

FIC 1650 injectors actually come in both high Z and low Z flavors.

The older Blue Max low Z version has a fat body like this - and can be difficult to tune at idle on pump because of high base latencies:

The newer high Z version has a narrow body and looks like this:
