Hi Guys,

I am trying to help a friend who sent the car to Mitsubishi and they flashed this new ROM due to a transmission recall without asking him.

Long story short he lost his custom tune, but he likes the way his transmission is shifting now, we are trying to find this rom definition so he can tune without loosing his new transmission settings.

Any help will be appreciated. Attached is the read file of this new ROM, according to GoldenEvo the ID is: 53600017

You should be able to use the closest available definitions available on goldenevo.com with the wizard on ecuflash to flash another rom. I had to do the same after the dealer flashed my ecu with the recall rom.

Most of the addresses have shifted over by a couple of bits. I'll check the SST tables to see if they really changed anything.

I do need it too... I have rewrite some of the definitions to have access but I would like more advanced ones

Has anyone found XML definitions for the 2009 US Ralliart with 53600017 rom ID? Either I would have to define it myself by checking how much the tables are offset from 53600008, 53600009, and 53600010 or download one of those earlier roms and then hope that it doesn't complain about changes to protected areas. I've already checked and my ECUFlash has the capability to overwrite protected areas but in this case it's just not letting me because I'm attempting to flash a 2010 Ralliart over a 2009 Ralliart and it's not liking it one bit. The only other option might be to try a bench flash but I kind of wanted to leave that as a last resort.
