Rom id 58020006 - (solved)

(No, this is not another thread about someone who's searching an easy to find XML def)

Hi, I'm having an issue with an EVO X ROM. It's from a 2012 MR USDM

Today I connected my OP2.0 (from tactrix, not a china fake) and I wanted to download the ROM to my laptop

So the ROM downloads, no error in ecuflash, but when it tries to open it, there is no definition. When I try to create a definition, ECUFLASH gives me the ROM ID 58020006 (position 5002a). I checked everywhere, never found someone whos ROM ID was 58020006. This model is supposed to have a ROM ID of 58020005.

Golden website returns a ROM ID of FFFFFFFF ...

Could it be already tuned, and the tuner locked the ECU ? (I did not try ECU unlocker)

for starters, you have opened a SRF file.. this is a propiatory format from ecuflash.

reopen that in ecuflash, and save as a .bin... then hexworkshop the .bin

Yeah did that, the ROM ID is back at the right location haha...

But what is this ROM ID ? Did you seen it before ?

Just wanted to make sure it's safe to flash a 2010 tephra X mod on it (55580106 in my case)

So there is no safe/proven option to flash a 2012 SST with a tephra X mod (V1, V2 or V3) ?
In the X mod V1 thread, the listed roms are only 2008 and 2010s
