⛔★ Evo 8 stock MAP sensor OpenPort issues
Hey guys I can't seem to figure out the readings from my stock 2003 Evo 8 MAP sensor on OpenPort 2.0 standalone logging.
Sensor registers between 50-247. Seems to show 247 anytime you Boost gauge hits 0psi. And 50 seems to be around -24psi I think.
I though this MAP sensor can read boost too? Aren't they 2-bar sensors? Shouldn't it read up to 14.7psi and -14.7vac?
If this sensor doesn't read boost, that means Evos don't use MAP sensor for adjusting fuel while boosting, and only use MAF????
Can someone please clarify and explain this sensor to me? I can't see to find anyone explaining this. Also I'm assuming sensor puts out 0-5v, what PSI is 0v, and what PSI is 5v?

They only read like 2 psi or something.
You need to install a Omni 4 bar.
Log jdm map in evoscan then rename it to Omni 4 bar and set the proper equation in evoscan also.
