Evo 9 redline
So I own an Evo IX and it currently has a stock block. I just installed GSC S2 camshafts for both intake and exhaust. I also upgraded my valvesprings and retainers to the GSC beehives on both the intake and exhaust side. What do you think is a safe redline to tune it to?

They will do 8000RPM all day.
As said match with your turbo though.

I always thought higher lift and longer duration cams and stiffer valve springs along with your engines compression ratio which I'm pretty sure a stock 4g63 is 8.5:1 dictates how high in the rev range you can go.

I had those cams with a ported evo 9 turbo (20g compressor wheel) and had mine at 8k. Loved it

Well with that turbo 8k will suffice as guys are saying...

If you were still on a stock turbo... I would have left it at the stock limit.
