using apexi avcr map sensor to log boost jdm8 2003
yes i have searched but can't find exactly how.
i want to use an apexi map sensor with a jdm e8 that doesn't have a map sensor oem.
so i need ecu pin number connections and what rom/xml entry's are needed?
TIA
my rom id is 96260009 3 plug ecu

not sure if my 3plug ecu is the same as the pin 73 mentioned?
i sure my rom will need some addition for this to work
and when john said log mut38 what does that mean?

looking at the connectors (8gsr and 8mr) the spare connectors are 73/74. which correspond to mut38/39. both a 5V inputs.
so connect the wire to pin 73 and log via mut 38. the formula i use is (x*0.17573)-14.5
edit to check.. just hook up some wire giving voltage below 1 (maybe via resistor) or as i did check the voltage via multimeter on the blue wire. then log mut to see if you get a value bigger than 0

result today
logging on jdm 3 plug ecu
LC1 wideband on pin 73 mut 3c
Apexi map sensor pin 93 mut 39
Display="LC1 Afr" LogReference="LC1 Afr" RequestID="3C" Eval="7.35+(22.39-7.35)*x/255" Unit="a/f ratio" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="10" GaugeMax="16" ChartMin="10" ChartMax="16" ScalingFactor="1"
.
Display="Boost Apexi pin93" LogReference="Boost" RequestID="39" Eval="0.19347*x-14.7" Unit="psig" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="-15" GaugeMax="30" ChartMin="-15" ChartMax="30" ScalingFactor="1"
the reading in evoscan is a little lower than shown on my apexi which i hope to scale today
i.e 1.05 bar on the apexi showed 11.2 psi in evoscan
will try ziad's suggestion of 0.17573

and finally all scaled exactly
Display="Boost Apexi pin93" LogReference="Boost" RequestID="39" Eval="(0.18375*x-14.7)*1.47" Unit="psig" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="-15" GaugeMax="30" ChartMin="-15" ChartMax="30" ScalingFactor="1"

Does this allow the use of PSI based boost tuning (providing that a JDM or OMNI MAP sensor is used) and does it allow the use of the AFR safety feature in tephra roms.
I am a JDM Evo 8 owner and info like this is hard to come by. Its almost like we need a separate sub section.
