How to tell if your ECU has been reflashed?
I recently purchased an Evo 8. It has your normal bolt-ons and a manual boost controller. I'm in the process of removing everything and putting it back to stock. I'm assuming that the Ecu has been reflashed when the boost was turned up, but I'm not sure. Is there any way that I can checking the Ecu is reflashed or original?

Im certainly no tuning expert, but have been tuned many times & watched the process
You will need to download the ROM from your ECU. There is certainly no RED flags that jump out noting the ECU parameters have been changed
It will take a tuner to compare the ROM w/stock settings to determine what values were changed (boost, timing, checksum, etc)

Nice car man congrats, well if somebody flash your rom is for sure that enable tephra mods is the most cool baseline for tune, so download your rom and check if tephra mods is enable, if yes for sure your car has been flashed, but don't complicate yourself and find your stock rom, flash to your car and enjoy.
