Help needed with 52370024

Hey guys, it's been years since I've been out of an Evo (had a IX MR) so please bare with me. I'm having a little trouble logging my 08' JDM SST (523700224). I've read through a bunch of threads and followed the steps but still am getting some weird values in evoscan. I copied the following lines of code to my xml file:

<table name="IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #1" category="Misc" type="1D" address="0x7f58d" scaling="Hex8"/>
<table name="IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #2" category="Misc" type="1D" address="0x8ad91" scaling="Hex8"/>
<table name="DoMode 0x42 -> 0x52" category="Misc" type="1D" address="0x8ad96" scaling="Hex16"/>

I've also made the changes in ecuflash, but when I open evoscan and start logging all the data is off (I'm thinking that I don't have the correct data.xml for evoscan which I tried hunting down on goldenevo's site but that's down).
If I get the correct data.xml should I be okay to log or am I missing something else?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

Did you change the tables correctly like below?

Thanks for the response, yes I do believe I made the correct changes, I think the problem might lie with my evoscan. Is there any patching that needs to be done to evoscan to be able to log?

There are no patches. No needs for logging with mode23.

Looking at your image, it seems that there are two sets of mode23 tables.

a)IFMode 0x05 0> 0x23 #1, IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #2, DoMode 0x42 -> 0x52.
b)Mode 23 - IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #1, Mode 23 - IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #2, Mode 23 - DoMode 0x52 -> 0x52

Make sure the tables have correct addresses and delete either a) or b).

After surely flashing modified rom, use latest version of evoscan.(v.2.9.0100)

Before trying mode23, can you take a correct log with "EVOX CAN MUTIII"? If you can't, make sure that OpenPort 2.0(J2534/CAN/EvoX) selected, CAN 2006+(EvoX) checked.

If you can take a correct log with "EVOX CAN MUTIII", check these points below image showing:

Good luck,

Thanks Crimson, I'm pretty sure I made the correct changes to the xml file but I'll start over from scratch with the original rom and follow your steps, I'll report back.

Move over to raxfast logging https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...t-logging.html

You will have better resolution in the logs...
