Switched to v7, car runs for a few seconds then dies

Hi everyone. I've already asked on the v7 thread but I haven't had an answer, and i am hoping to make some progress on the map tomorrow so figured I'd start a thread. Basically as the title says, I've just switched to tephra v7 but the engine dies a few seconds after starting. It holds 2k or so as normal and then as the revs drop to idle it just drops off and dies. I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea why it would do that? There aren't any desired ISCV tables on the 88590715 xml I'm using but they're not needed on this rom from what ive read, so I guess that's nothing to do with it. The other idle settings seem normal. I've used the big maps calculator to copy across the maps from my working v5 rom, so I assume it's nothing to do with them.

Any ideas appreciated

It starts but as soon as the revs drop down to idle it dies. I assume the immobiliser would stop it firing at all. I done a little log and you can see the IDC go up to around 2.5 but then the revs and IDC go down until it stalls. A little IDC spike near the bottom as it tries to stay alive I guess, but it doesn't even do more than a little rev before it dies

Is it only an ideling issue , or does the Car die if you press the Pedal?

Ive experienced this on my buddies car.
I fixed it by adjusting the BISS screw.

EFF, I'll have to check at the weekend. My battery is so small that It'll only upload a map when it's just been running or is hooked up to another battery, and that's a nightmare to do in the dark evenings we've got atm, and it's currently got v5 on it. I don't want to risk a failed upload as have to start moving about cars to get a jump (which happened earlier tonight). But it does seem like an idle issue. If the revs only stay at 2k for a second it drops and dies really quickly. Sometimes when I start it it holds 2k for bit longer, seems fine but then as they drop it dies.

4b11, it runs fine on my v5 rom. Just v7 that's playing up. I'll be the first to admit that I'm far from a processional. I can map it, and have half an idea what a fair bit of the stuff does, but finding faults in the technical stuff is way beyond me tbh.

If the car won't start at all, adjust the tables labeled #1 for fuel and ISCV.
If the car starts but then runs really rough or dies within the first few seconds, adjust the #2 tables.
If the car starts, runs for a few seconds really well then begins to run rough or stall, adjust the #3 tables.

Should sort out your problems....

Thanks. I guess you mean 88590715? And that will work on my UK ix? 88570008. A friend done sone searching when i was having some issues and found a thread where tephra himself said there was no rom for 88570008. No way of telling at what stage in v7 development he said it though
