Tuning help for Evo 9
Need some help with tuning bolt on parts to my Evo 9 stock map. What value/tables needs to be changed? Looking for some pointers and tips for someone who’s new to tuning. Below I listed my current bolt on mods anything that’s not listed is stock otherwise noted. Thanks in advance
2006 Evo 9 mr 6 speed
- upper intercooler piping
- intake with AEM air filter
- Mishimoto Lower intercooler pipe
- stock intercooler
- MAP performance header manifold
- Invidia O2 housing
- Invidia down pipe
- HKS exhaust system
- EVO 9 turbo
- stock WGA
- stock injector/fuel pump

Reinstall your stock air box. The cold air is good for 400 hp and sucking hot air will lose you power. As for exhaust, are you running test pipe, stock cat, or high flow cat? You should spool faster and be able to increase boost slightly. GL and don't blow your engine!
Personally, using stock air box and snorkel (and drop in filter), I think you can get 320 whp on dynojet at 24 psi and HFC on a good tune. Maybe 330 whp with test pipe.
