Firmer shifts for Normal and Sport mode
I was wondering if adjusting the line pressure in both Normal and Sport mode will cause any issues?
I was looking to increase Normal to what Sport mode is, Sport mode to S-Sport and have S-Sport adjusted by a tuner.
My game plan is the have S-Sport as my go fast tune and have normal as an eco tune but not wear out the clutches. While having Sport as my in between.
Our biggest issue with the SST dying is due to the transmission slowly engaging gears in Normal mode for a more comfortable shift which puts extra wear on the clutches and burns the fluid. So what I'm trying to do is make the same quick firm shifts on the other modes for lazy/slow days or long drives.
I usually only use S-Sport unless I'm doing a long distance drive and need cruise control (only works on Normal mode sadly). But I'd like to make all modes more reliable and I don't mind firm/hard shifts.
