ECUFlash / Evoscan / Mitsulogger Questions

Guys,

Please post your questions specific to issues in the forums. Although I don't mind getting PM's, I'm getting the SAME QUESTIONS asked repeatedly that can be answered by posting them here in the forum, or searched for (as most are already answered)

I really don't want to be rude about it, since I try to answer all of my PM's. But most of the questions I've been asked in the past few days, are different members asking the same exact questions.

Please, if the PM is a question about tuning, or other info that isn't personal or confidential, please post it.

Obviously if its private or confidential, PM or E-mail me..

Thanks..

let me start by saying that this is a perfect thread.

my question: how the heck do i get Mitsulogger? (i need it all explained Puh-lease)

MalibuJack Dec 13, 2006 08:36 AM

Download it from www.aktivematrix.com (you have to be a registered member) From there the program is pretty straightforward after you extract it to a destination.

A mod really should sticky this thread for me.. LOL

Its really not that I don't want to get PM's.. But in many cases I get asked questions that are already answered in the forum. In other cases, I'll get an influx of new ECUFlash users who ask the exact same basic questions that are a little involved to explain, and of course, takes up quite a bit of my time answering every time it comes up.

BTW, I didn't really mean to ask the questions in this thread, just to post your questions in the forums where others can see and answer instead of waiting on me to answer it.

Thats why I'm trying to come up with a few tutorials to help with common questions. Maybe we should do a FAQ sticky with links to threads about injector scaling, .xml definitions, ecu controlled boost, etc. That might help.

A faq would be a great idea...

The issue is someone has to go through and pick out the threads with the good info, and compile its links into a new thread specifically for these common qustions..

We need an index for what all the boxes mean on the left hand side of the ECUFlash software....

Can you help Jack?

I have a question:

I have noticed that at least in one case with one poster (sandm??) his log does not have enoguh rpm points getting logged. Why is that?

What is the benefit of mitsulogger over Evoscan besides cost?

+1 I use EVOScan cause I paid for the damn thing, might as well get my monies worth. Plus, as far as I know, ML doesn't work with Innovative's LC-1 :|

Doesn't Mitsulogger calculate LoadCalc and Evoscan don't?

EvoAnthony Dec 13, 2006 11:29 AM

EvoScan calculates load calc....

Both loggers can calculate load, I have also been able to get the 2 byte load to work in both loggers.

It's really up to your personal choice on which is better.

Evoscan does have an edge so far with the wideband integration, but I know that ML is headed in that direction too.

That is NOT what I meant. I meant to say that there are more data points between 4-5k in an Evoscan log than in the Mitsulogger log. Check the logs that I posted and then check any Evoscan log and you can see the difference.
