What fuel?

I got the car through the owners family, they didn't know anything about it except it being stored for a long time. I put 91 octane in it, it seems to be running fine. It looks like stock injectors and i don't hear any fuel pump whine. So led me to believe it isn't running E85.

The MIVEC intake advance look very interesting. Anyone know why it might be modified this way? As in any sign of having camshafts?. The warmed up idle is a little lumpy but not a sure sign of camshafts.

The mivec map has been modified. The cammed sound at idle is most likely from the increased overlap at idle as u can see in the mivec map where the idle areas have a max value of intake advance. Set that block of cells in the upper left of the mivec map to 0’s and it will probably idle like stock.
As for the whine sound, I’d guess that’s the acd pump activating since that is one method of getting the acd pump to run to bleed the system.
