US EVO's ARE CRAP!!!??
Do EVO's in europe break easily?, just wondering because here in the US, soooo many drivetrain issues....bad transfer cases, clutch, transmision....also are the dealerships there mod friendly or do they void warranty the first chance they get?

I have a 05 VIII with 22k miles., got it brand new with 16 miles out the lot....Its my daily driver BUT i baby it alot! rarely go above 3k rpms when driving around., do my regular schedule maintenance., i've only done 4 track days, no drags or launching... but now i have the "TC whine"!!!!
power mods are intake and exhaust cams + gears, TBE( no cat ), IC upgrade +LIC and UIC, walbro pump and a street tune @ 22psi

Sorry to hear that bro.. but that just you.. you must ended up with a weaksauce drivetrain.
Evos here in germany are slower compared to US Spec but handle better.. now as far as mods go.. not many modify them cuz there so strict when it comes to emissions and besides it to expensive for them to purchase mods.. Dealerships are ****ty when it comes to mods.. so you must have connections
and yes the evos here break just as easily and often as the states..

geez stop crying. Learn to drive, if you can't, sell it and get yourself a Civic..

I agree if you know how to drive and dont beat on it you wont have any issues and perform you required oil changes. I have an 03 VIII with many track events and autox and mountain runs all still on stock drivetrain(clutch, transfer case) I just go thru Advans like a mad man and no it's not stock but not super modded either. 307WHP and 318 tq at the wheels with my launch control set a 5500rpm it's just about perfect on the launch without killing my clutch
All evos are built in japan only diffrence is the Euro's alwaysed had ACD AYC but other then that the wear and tear is all on the driver and a little luck. Ive beaten mine so bad I would feel better about beating a child cause it wouldnt get it half as bad. Never broke anything except the stock clutch
if you really want to know Evo IX in France are breaking T-Case as well but there's nobody to help them fix it
I believe British enjoy fixing their car as well. Go on http://www.lancerregister.com/ and see by yourself
