this thread is point less if you can just search and find the dyno graph your self. or search and get all the info and then do some math and good compares with all the date you gather and make a post about it. dont let a thread go on for pages when at the end every one who has a half of brain can do by them self.

this is why i say this is point less.

fp red makes same if not more power then 30r

the fp red spools 1000rpm faster.

it is stock frame turbo

those are the key points

look i solved your thread see this is a point less thread.

do your home work make a nice 1st post with good information.

Obviously. That's how the problem was discovered. A few random customers Red's failed and after FP investigated the incidents the oil feed line was found to be the cause.

I was giving a hit maybe his friends need to read about the product they get and find out why that happen before he/she does same mistake again which seems like they did.

FP red is essentially a 3076 installed in mitsu houings. NON ball bearing of course. It spools 5-600 rpm faster than 3076 graphs that have been posted. only exception is the one or two TS 3076 graphs that have been posted spool as fast as a red does. both turbos are 600whp capable in a well setup car.

as far as reds failing there is no way the factory oil feed line is causing the problem. it has plenty of flow. sometimes turbo builders need a crutch to stand on while they work out the real issues.

theres ben numerous threads on this, alot of tuners were comparing the Red as in like a "32r-33r" just a tad bigger then a 30 but not as big as the 35r.

my buddy had a 3076 set-up on his evo and the turbo let go, he then purchased a Red and the car made similar power but was spooling alot faster and reacted alot better under meth and at high boost.

simple answer is there both very close, but like was said before, the red is going to spool faster and in some cases make more power then a 30.

i would do a Red IMO.

you shouldnt be comparing the 3076 and the red, it should be the HTA3076 and the red

On the west coast, the failures seem to have come during road racing. On the drag strip or street they usually are OK.

In my opinion it is either the Stock 9 turbo, The Force Performance Red, Or either of the Forced Performance HTA35r's.

The Forced Performance Red will make a little more power then the 30r and destroy it in spool up. Plus be way more fun to drive and has that awesome sleeper look.

The FP HTA 3582 will spool as fast if not faster then a 30r and have the potential to make up to 150 whp more. That means cooler air temps at lower boost level.

LOL it looks like forced Performance has the market covered.

I doubt the HTA3582 will spool as fast as a 30r. I've driven an FP red car vs. my old set-up with an hta30r and the spool difference was no more than 300rpm. My buddy was still on the factory intercooler as a couple other parts. If he were to upgrade some parts the spool would be near identical.
